Announcements from the Carolina Holistic Medicine centers
This post is and update and announcements for the public on our clinical practice.
Update on new happenings at CHM. We are now announcing our TEAM: Wanda Ichiriu has recently passed her IFM boards in functional medicine, so we have a Physician Associate (PA) with credentials in Functional Medicine. We also have two new providers Whitney and Aida that are taking care of our patients via TELEMEDICINE. Whitney is a PA grad from the Yale Medical School Program and did a clinical rotation with us during her final year. Aida has been enrolled in our PH-academy and has faithfully attended our masterclasses and Q&A weekly sessions and been virtual shadowing me on my telemed visits for over 8-months. Both Whitney and Aida are accepting new patients.
BUYER BE AWARE: There are healthcare providers out there stating they are INTEGRATIVE or HOLISTIC when in fact that are not. Those terms are ''hot'' right now and help with marketing their businesses. Just make sure you do your due diligence and vet them out. Ask for credentials and board certification. Like Wanda she is Board Certified by the Institute of Functional Medicine. And our lead nurse partitioner Christopher Jackman is our first graduate and certified in Holistic Medicine by the Priority Health Academy.
WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO: https://welcome.carolinaholisticmedicine.com for a short video on our culture and why we do what we do. This is a rather old video, but the message is clear. **several featured in this video are no longer with our practice.
We will also be having a new Doctorate Nurse Practitioner (DNP) student from Clemson rotating with us at our M.I. and Mt. Pleasant location very soon.
We are also announcing that Deborah M. Jamison, RN will be finishing up some training and be offering patients health coaching and nutritional guidance. Deborah has been with our center for quite a while and working with me as my administrative assistant and lead nurse. Inquire about how you can get coaching from her.
We are also moving our HQ from the Inlet to Mt. Pleasant and doors will be open as usual at the Murrells Inlet office. Randee our MA there is managing that office and Chris Jackman, and I will have a weekly presence there as well.
"True healthcare freedom begins when individuals are entrusted to make decisions for their own well-being, without the burden of bureaucratic interference. The Personalized Care Act of 2025 is not just a reform—it's a step toward restoring dignity and choice in the way Americans access and pay for care."
