Always enjoyed and appreciated C.S. Lewis; especially his “The Screwtape Letters” taken
first hear of theology….that classic piece has stuck with me ever since when considering basic dishonesty as the root of evil! Also his “Surprised by Joy”,….the title itself says so much about our experience of The Sacred!
Thank you. Dr. Saleeby for sharing your picture with fellow KofC members! I think the Catholic Churches have it partially right by having two distinct working groups in the parishes! Sometimes you just feel more comfortable sharing/working with “your own kind”! Always enjoyed CWL, except for when some members get caught in the “Father Knows Best” syndrome!

Yusuf,
Thrilled to see this post
Back in the 1970s, I moved from wanting to believe but not being convinced, to being delivered from myself along a pathway highlighted by two books:
1st Evidence that Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell
2nd Mere Christianity
Now we are blessed to be shepherd's by a head pastor who takes pilgrimages every other year, lives, teaches, and models a servant of God - and lives and breathes C.S.Lewis. This includes going to Charleston every year deforestation CSL meetings, and rececently to Ireland places where CSL worshipped.
O am thrilled to realize we share the redeeming blood of Jesus.
